about me

Hello...

Finding your True North exists between the intersection between what you know about your identity right now and what you will learn about yourself through personal growth and exploration.  It is a fixed point that exists internally and stays true to who you are no matter what is happening in your life.  Through laughter and sadness, you are evolving daily.  It is important to remain steady and commit always to yourself.  The best relationship you can have in life is with YOURSELF.  Let me be there as a support and provide you with the tools you may need to encounter any challenges with grace, strength, and confidence.

My approach involves humor, self-reflection through deeper, probing questions, learning how to take time to view multiple perspectives, and working through those more challenging spaces with special care and attention.  I integrate holistic frameworks to understand a person's inner workings in totality and strive to meet any individual where they are at within their journey.

I am comfortable working with individuals and any relationship needing enhancement and growth.  Within my clinical work, I utilize an intersectional lens in order to learn about the layers of one's own personal identity and how it connects to their world views.  I am an ally to the LGBTQAI+ community and  advocate for those that feel unheard or "silenced."  I am also a certified Advanced Care Plan Specialist and help develop end-of-life wishes and Advance Directives for an individual.

My experience includes:

  • Depression
  • Self-esteem issues
  • Sexual identity concerns
  • Elders
  • Those seeking support through life stages and transitions
  • Those living with chronic pain and physical ailments
  • End-of-life patients, and those involved in hospice care and services
  • Helping professionals dealing with compassion fatigue and "burn out"
  • Anxiety-related symptoms
  • Grief and loss
  • Trauma-related symptoms
  • Concerns related to being in any relationship/partnership
